Yoga is a scientific art igniting the soul to shine from the heart through the mind and the body. Yoga asanas (poses) are ancient techniques to realign the energetic body through the physical body and the nervous system. When the internal world is aligned with the higher Self, a natural sense of bliss flows freely through the body as health and the mind as peace. Along with the yoga poses there are pranayama (conscious breathing exercises), mantras (liberating chants) and mudras (hand gestures) that stimulate the natural healing power of the body, mind, emotions and soul. Andrea will guide a combination of these techniques unique to you and your current needs. Each session will help activate the innate inner wisdom to heal, rejuvenate, and relax. The yoga poses practiced will be accessible, comfortable and restorative, no advance or prior practice needed. Breathing exercises will be adapted to the capacity of your practice. Mudras will be shared based on the area of healing and/or the area in life you would like to advance.
