The breath, prana and mind are intertwined. As stated by the ancient yogic text, the Yoga Sutras, Yoga is the cessation of movement within the mind. When there is concentration on the life behind the breath we can bring the mind into equilibrium experiencing our true nature of bliss. Andrea will guide you through a pranayama (breath control) practice that will lead you to become the observer over your mind and enjoy the state of stillness. When you can become the observer of your own mind you can enjoy inner stillness without being affected by the motions of your mind. Over time with practice the mind will have less thoughts and your self control will increase. Sessions can be focused on the practice of blissful stillness or on the release of a particular thought pattern, emotion or memory through visualization and/or mantra/positive affirmation repetition. * 55 minutes (45 minutes practice + 10 minutes discussion/integration)
